(1) Connect the cable correctly. The connecting cable should not be too long. If a long cable is necessary, the cable loss must be added to the meter reading, especially at high frequency.

② The field intensity meter should not only measure the image carrier level, but also measure the frequency modulation sound broadcast signal carrier level. Therefore, the signal level used should include the sound carrier level and the image carrier level. The voice carrier level is defined as the RMS of the unmodulated voice carrier voltage at a 75 ω terminal, expressed as dBμV. The image carrier level is defined as the RMS value of the image carrier voltage at the modulation envelope peak (synchronous head) at the 75 ω terminal, expressed as dBμV. Therefore, the image carrier level measurement geophone should be the peak geophone, pay attention to use.

③ Use the ambient temperature. In the middle of winter in the north, thermal insulation measures should be taken, and in the middle of summer in the south, the instrument should be avoided directly under the sun, otherwise the reading error will greatly exceed the range of technical indicators.

(4) When using the field intensity meter, move it frequently and avoid collision, so as not to damage the instrument's shell and descending accuracy.

⑤ The field strength meter must be measured periodically or compared with the field strength meter that has been specially measured, so as to avoid inaccurate instrument misjudgment.
