目前的有线电视网络中，通常是模拟电视和数字电视混合传输，用数字场强仪测量各频道信号电平的时候，遇到模拟频道时，能自动显示出模拟电视信号的图像载波频率、图像载波电平、伴音载波电平及两者的电平差（A/V比）等数值；遇到数字频道时，能自动显示数字信号的中心频率、信号电平值、MER、BER等数值。


所以，数字场强仪能测量模拟电视信号的。
In the current cable TV network, analog TV and digital TV are usually mixed transmission. When measuring the signal level of each channel with digital field strength meter, when encountering analog channel, the image carrier frequency, image carrier level, accompanying carrier level and the level difference (A/V ratio) of the analog TV signal can be automatically displayed; when encountering digital channel, the analog TV signal can be displayed automatically. The central frequency, signal level, MER and BER of digital signal are calculated.
 
Therefore, the digital field strength meter can measure analog TV signals.
